About MASALA BAE

Amazing flavors brought from all over India right to your plate! Masala Bae is OC’s Halal spot to eat!

MASALA BAE is an indian restaurant in Tustin, California. It is listed at 13812 Red Hill Ave, Tustin, CA 92780, which places it among the local businesses of Tustin that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Tustin, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Masala Bae is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Tustin! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The restaurant was clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. We tried several dishes, and everything arrived beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Samosa Chaat had the perfect combination of crispy pastry, chickpeas, creamy yogurt, chutneys, and crunchy toppings. The Chicken 65 was bold, spicy, and incredibly flavorful, while the Malai Chicken Tikka was tender, juicy, and covered in a delicious creamy sauce. The biryani was another highlightβ€”aromatic, well-seasoned, and loaded with flavor, especially with the fresh onions, herbs, and lime on top. The Old Delhi Chicken Makhani was rich, creamy, and comforting, with perfectly cooked chicken and a sauce we could not stop eating. Of course, the fresh naan was a must for dipping into every last bit of sauce. The portions were generous, the presentation was impressive, and every dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Masala Bae is a must-visit for anyone looking for auth

We always visit for the AYCE lunch buffet in the weekend. Huge rotating menu means each time we get to try new things. Staff are super friendly, great vibe inside and prompt refilling of the dishes means it's always a great experience Highly recommend you to try it

I recently dined at Masala Bae after a long gap β€” my last visit was a few years ago and had only been delivery until now. This time we ate in, and overall it was a good experience. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Bhel Puri, Mysore Masala Dosa, lemonade, and Mango Lassi. The portion sizes were very generous, which I appreciated (leftovers are always a plus). The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and well made, though there was a slight flavor β€” possibly hing β€” that I personally don’t enjoy. Otherwise, it was solid. The Bhel Puri was perfect and tasted great. The Mysore Masala Dosa was a bit too spicy for me, so I’ll try something else next time. The lemonade tasted just like Limca, and the Mango Lassi was decent. Customer service was excellent β€” everyone was kind and welcoming. One heads-up: the food does take a while to be served, so plan accordingly.

Originally came here with a team from work and was really impressed. Brought my husband here today and it was just as excellent as I had remembered! Very good selection of food in the buffet. Garlic naan, mango lassi, chai tea also included in the lunch buffet. The food was flavorful and delicious. We tried a little of everything and the host was very attentive. Dishes were marked clearly (nuts noted if you have a nut allergy). Dessert dishes also included. Will definitely be back again!

This place is good. Really good. They have a nice assortment of Indian dishes and they change it every day. On Sunday they offered mango lassi and tea. Nice freshly made naan too. The service was great. They’re all nice and friendly and very attentive.
